At Mt. Airy Baptist Church we love our students!
If you're a teenager, know that you are loved and at Mt. Airy Baptist Church there is a staff of adults who think you are FANTASTIC!! We want to see you win in this life and provide you with the knowledge to do that! We strive to provide an atmosphere that's rich in grace and mercy, a place where you can be accepted-right where you're at, with no expectations or judgments.
Stop by on a Wednesday night from 7-8pm for a great experience involving worship, food and thought-provoking activities! Hang out in our student lounge with teens just like you!
Regardless of whether you attend church or not, our youth programs are open to everyone!

> Beginning in February, MABC Youth will kick off "True Love Waits":
True Love Waits challenges teenagers and college students to make a commitment to sexual abstinence until marriage. Created by LifeWay Christian Resources, True Love Waits encourages moral purity by adhering to biblical principles. This youth-based international campaign utilizes positive peer pressure by encouraging those who make a commitment to refrain from pre-marital sex to challenge their peers to do the same. > JUNE 6th: Graduation Sunday - 11am service / Youth Praise Band Practice - 6pm
> JUNE 13th: Student Ministry Family Picnic @ Piney Run Park, Eldersburg - 1-5pm (Pavilion #1)
> JUNE 21 - 25th, 2010: Vacation Bible School
MABC Youth take an active part in assiting our Children's Ministry with VBS. Youth volunteers will be teaching Bible classes and children's choir among many other activities throughout the week.

> JULY 26-30th: Mission Trip to Philadelphia
> AUGUST 15th: Mission Trip Report & Movie Night Fellowship- 6pm
> AUGUST 24th: Student Ministry Swim Party @ Ridge Swim Club - 4pm - 8pm

The Great Commandment
Matthew 22:37-40
Jesus replied, "'You must love the Lord your God (worship) with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' (ministry) All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.
The Great Commission
Matthew 28:19-20
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations (evangelism), baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit (fellowship) . Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you (discipleship). And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
